Our Story

What began as a gesture of love with the planting of a few grapevines has led us here, to a family vineyard built upon four generations of land stewardship. Our patriarch Bill Davis planted over 400 grapevines while his wife Mary Ellen was away visiting family in 2012, and we suddenly had an abundance of grapes that we had no purpose for. After some discussions, we started crafting wines in small, five-gallon carboys in our kitchen in 2015, and decided we wanted to start making wine more professionally. After attending seminars and conferences, we now have over ten 120 gallon tanks to ferment our ever-expanding wine collection9. We never imagined that those grapevines we planted over a decade ago would grow into this.

We are an entirely family-owned and operated business. Everyone from grandparents to grandchildren take part in the day-to-day operations at Twisted Vine. We couldn’t imagine spending our weekends any other way than serving our customers and our friends the best wine we can produce.
